First, a few words about our power cables and our beliefs. While our power cables could be considered "affordable" in the grand scheme of things, we urge you not to judge them according to how much they cost. As you read through the descriptions below, you will notice that we have gone to great lengths to design a cable that can take on all comers--no matter their cost. We invite you to compare any of our cables to your current favorite, and prepare to be pleasantly surprised!
What you will give up with our cables is ultra fancy packaging (we usually ship in a nicely made plain tin that you can use for other things after you put the cable in your system) , bound and laminated owners manuals (you will get a users manual, albeit a simple one), or any other peripheral "frills". We have chosen to forgo any of the "frills", usually designed by marketing to enhance "pride of ownership" and let the performance of the cables speak for themselves. Besides, who ultimately pays for all of these "frills"? We don't believe you should pay for anything but a top-performing cable.
At the present time, we are setting up our channels of distribution and are offering the below cables on a bespoke basis. As we are necessarily limited on how many cables we can build and condition per week/month, please plan on waiting at least 14-30 days for your cable to be built, conditioned, and shipped to you.
As the cables are bespoke, no returns are allowed.

Nucleus Power Cables
Designed to be used in ultra high performance systems, the Nucleus is at home when partnered with the finest, most revealing audio equipment. However, Nucleus is non-discriminatory and wrings the best possible performance from more modestly priced systems as well. Designed to be used with any audio or video component, including the largest of amplifiers.
The goal of Nucleus, above all else, is to do no harm.
In order to develop a cable that meets our primary goal, three vitally important aspects of cable design were carefully considered:
- Immunity from outside electrical interference. We developed a unique three layer shielding, which incorporates a combination of foil, Copper/Tin weaved braid and a unique material based on carbon that is incredibly effective at rejecting outside electrical interference.
- Immunity from outside mechanical interference. We carefully considered all aspects of the cables construction to minimize the effects of vibration on the cables performance. A number of unique features went into the construction of the raw cable, including jacketing materials and a specially specified internal damping material that is twisted with the conductors. In addition, when terminating the cable, we pay close attention to the mechanisms employed which attach the cable to the connectors, including the use of a special compound to ameliorate vibration at this critical junction.
- Conductor material and signal propagation. To meet our design goals and what we had modeled as the ideal AC conductor, large gauge ultra pure conductors are used in concert with our proprietary conditioning process which includes deep cryogenic treatment of all critical parts, various stages of "burn in" and de-magnetism of the entire cable.
With Nucleus, the noise floor is dramatically lowered, allowing the music to emerge from an incredibly black background of silence. The removal of spurious noise and vibration allows hidden details to emerge that had been previously obscured. Also, Nucleus is explosively dynamic.
We could wax poetic for pages about all of the technology employed, but...that's really not our style. We will say that this cable was under development for more than two years and is looked at as a system of individual parts, and we ensure that Nucleus, as a system, performs exactly as expected.. So, to sum up:

- Triple shielded with a combination of foil, tinned Copper braid and a unique Carbon infused material

- Exclusive conditioning process which incudes our custom developed--in house--deep cryogenic treatment cycle of all critical parts, conditioning on our "burn in bench", and demagnetism of the entire cable
- Specially specified material twisted with conductors designed to help damp vibration
- All contact points are thoroughly cleaned and treated with a special contact treatment designed for long term protection from oxidation/improved conductivity
- Specially spec'd compound used at all critical junctions to ameliorate vibration
- Each cable is hand assembled, tested and conditioned before shipping
- Raw cable is 600v, UL and CSA listed. USA manufactured!
Many who own this cable have replaced cables that cost many multiples of Nucleus and have suggested to get more exposure we should charge much more than we do. However, while not inexpensive, we would rather keep the price affordable so many more people can enjoy all that their beloved audio systems are capable of delivering and connect deeper emotionally with the music.

A slightly more "front row" presentation than Nucleus with the Oyaide Gold plated ends above. For many systems Nucleus with the Gold plated ends will be the right choice, but if your system is ultra detailed AND ultra smooth, this model may be your ticket to ride!

Nucleus 004
Nucleus with Oyaide P/C 004. Beryllium base metal, Palladium and Platinum plated ends.
Sonically, right between the Nucleus with P/C 046 ends and Nucleus with P/C 079 ends. Has almost all of the detail of Nucleus with the P/C 046 ends, but doesn't require one to be as careful with system matching. This cable also offers a nice "plummy" midbass presentation, which many sytems benefit from.

Polestar Power Cables
Our desire with Polestar was to give audio enthusiasts a way to experience much of Nucleus' performance at a considerably lower cost.
We closely modeled this cable after Nucleus, incorporating many of the features that make Nucleus unique, which allows it to sound very close to it's big brother. While we had to forgo a few features to get the price of this cable down, the two cables are definitely "cut from the same cloth". Polestar has a slightly "warmer" character, which actually may be a benefit in some systems.
Polestar is a very quiet, detailed, high performance power cable.
Suitable for use with any component, be it source or amplifier.
